Got a gift today. A horse!
My parents have had their struggles in the past 6 years. My Dad lost his teaching job after mold poisoned his lungs thanks to his school's air duct system. He lost 40% of his lung capacity. My Mother was diagnosed with cancer after a large tumor was found on her asophagus. She went from weighing 170 lbs to a fraile 105. A surgeon from John Hopkins hospital in Baltimore had to be flown in to perform a 10 hour surgery. She made it out OK, but still has tumors all over her body. I have done everything in my being to help them through their struggles. It has also taken an emotional toll on me. There were nights where their fridge was empty, and I gave them my paycheck so they would not go hungry. Yet, they picked themselves back up. They are back on their feet, and financially well off. It took a long time to do so. But they survived. They moved out to a ranch in the middle of no where to live in bliss. This week, my parents wanted to thank me in their own way. As a token of their appreciation, they got e a Palamino horse. A horse! Very unusual, but cool. Very friendly horse. I named him CM Punk after my favorite wrestler. I was touched by this
gift. A year and a half ago, I lost my beloved Chihuahua POOCH. Her death sent me into depression. Now I have a horse named after the Straight Edge Superstar. It's a huge responsibility. I'm ready for it. Good thing I didn't name him Space Mountain. Thanks Mom and Dad. Love Ya!
