kanye and comic con
Kanye West is becoming more of a child every time I see him. I really have a problem with him questioning Beck's integrity as an artist. He always seems to detract eyes away from his craft only to be judged by his juvenile antics. What he did to Beck, he did to Taylor Swift. He just walks up to the stage and acts a fool like an ego driven football player at a high school pep rally. I don't think he should shut up. We just need to ignore him. He will not stop. It's just who he is. I respect him as an artist, but pay no mind to his childish behavior. He could be putting on an act. Yet, that act is getting old. Kanye, be yourself but don't disrespect others in the process. Big props for John Legend sticking up for Beck. He's a class act.
Saturday is the general badge sale for the nerd mecca we all know as Comic-Con International. In my experience, it is alot like trying to win the lottery. The registration process is constantly being changed even if the year before it went off with out a hitch. Millions of people going online to grab one of 85000 tickets. It is a stress filled quest for many who want to attend comic con, and in most cases ends in disappointment. I don't stress about it. I love comic con, but I have bigger fish to fry. If I get tickets, great. If I lose out, life goes on. I can only try. If I do get to go, that would be awesome. Im in need of a good vacation. Sure there are pop culture conventions are poping up everywhere, but there is only one Comic-Con. It is an epic event. I'm keeping my fingers crossed, but won't be crushed if I don't get to go. You should always make it a point to go on an excursion to an event that involves something you are passionate about. It makes for great memories.
